What is TruffleMaps?
TruffleMaps is a truffle discovery platform that analyses truffle habitat with satellite, soil, geology and topography data and identifies the GPS targets to check first across large land. Together with TRUFON HUNT it forms the world's only integrated truffle discovery system.
What is TRUFON HUNT?
TRUFON HUNT is the system's field-detection component: a deep-tech truffle hunting product that works at TruffleMaps GPS targets. TRUFON HUNT
How does TRUFON HUNT find truffles?
TruffleMaps decides where to go; the mobile app guides you to the target; TRUFON HUNT performs field sensing at the target and records the result with its location. The excavation decision is based on that detection.
What do you sell?
The TruffleMaps platform (area analysis and GPS targets), the TRUFON HUNT field-detection instrument, the mobile field app and area analysis/licence packages. Products
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. The Android field app opens your licensed area offline and guides you to targets by GPS. The signed app comes with your customer account. Mobile app
Is there a customer dashboard?
Yes. The customer portal shows your account, licence, areas, data packages, devices, app release and support requests.
Hunting and field work
I don't have a dog. Can I still hunt truffles?
Yes. TruffleMaps + TRUFON HUNT is designed exactly for this: TruffleMaps sets the target, TRUFON HUNT detects in the field. No dog is required. Truffle hunting without a dog
Do I need a truffle dog?
No. Traditional truffle hunting has relied heavily on trained dogs; TruffleMaps + TRUFON HUNT offers a new deep-tech workflow. Teams that work with dogs can use the system too.
How are GPS targets generated?
Satellite, soil, geology and topography layers are evaluated together in species context, and the points to check first across large land are prioritised. How it works
How is a property analysed?
You send your area boundary and target species; the platform produces habitat layers and GPS targets for your area and assigns them to your account as a licensed area package.
Which truffle species are supported?
Tuber aestivum (summer truffle), Tuber magnatum (white truffle), Tuber melanosporum (black winter truffle) and Tuber borchii (bianchetto).
Can I use it internationally?
Our production habitat model currently covers Türkiye. For farms and land in other countries (for example Europe or Australia), send us the location, area size and target species; we assess data availability and the right setup (platform analysis and/or TRUFON HUNT) per project.
Evidence and patent
What does the 85% successful excavation rate mean?
It is the share of excavations at targeted points in TruffleMaps/TRUFON field work that were successful. It is not a habitat probability, AI accuracy or a forward-looking guarantee.
Where are the real field videos?
On the Field evidence page and the TruffleMaps YouTube channel. In a real field test, Tuber aestivum was found at all three preselected GPS target locations.
Is TRUFON HUNT patented?
A patent application has been filed for the technology. Its status follows the official records.

What does a package include?
